Hi there, I'm Adwait Vaidya

As a SWE at Verizon, I am a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for coding and problem-solving. With a strong foundation in programming languages such as Rust,Go, and Python, I am skilled in developing, testing, and debugging software applications. During my academic career, I gained experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, Software Design and Development Methodologies, and Algorithms. I also participated in several projects, including team-based software development projects and individual research projects, which further developed my technical and collaboration skills.   • Worked on the VSON team, an automation tool that takes care of and identifies and corrects misaligned configurations within the Verizon Network, mainly used to care of System performance, Network planning, Network Engineering Maintenance, etc.

- Developed a machine learning-based system that provides personalized health tips based on users' medical conditions and other relevant data , and integrated them with a website's front end.

IceCube - Neutrinos in Deep Ice

- Developed a neural network regression algorithm using Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch to predict neutrino event energies from the raw detector signals, using large datasets genered by Ice-Cube facility in Antarctica.

- Developed a deep learning model using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to classify leaves from different plant species accurately.

Student Scheduler

- Developed a mobile-based scheduling application specifically for students to manage their daily, weekly, and monthly academic schedules, assignments, and deadlines.

Foster Friends

-Developed a website for a foster parent program that connects potential foster parents with local rescue organizations and facilitates the process of fostering animals, and created a back-end system to manage the application process, which includes collecting relevant information about potential foster parents, their living situation, and their experience with animals.
